The bag itself isn't magnetic, at least not at first.

Thanks to the included pocket magnet, which is located inside the pocket, the pocket becomes magnetic and sticks to any metal surface—such as the vehicle itself or a metal strip—without needing a counterpart.

To attach the bag to the seat cover, you’ll need the counterpart magnet. Slide this under the seat cover at any suitable spot so that the bag’s magnet and the counterpart magnet can attract each other. This allows the bag to “hold on,” so to speak. The same method works, for example, with tent walls or thin cabinet panels. See photos above in the product listing.

The pocket magnet and the counterpart magnet each contain 2 (S), 3 (M), or 5 (L) strong individual neodymium magnets, which are encased in a fabric insert.

Magnetic pockets on the seat will only work with durable seat covers.

It is slipped under the seat cover at any suitable spot so that the magnet in the pocket and the corresponding magnet can attract each other. This allows the pocket to "stay in place," so to speak. No, inside the bag there is a large main compartment and a compartment that opens and closes with a zipper. The bag magnet is located in this zippered compartment. Therefore—at least when the bag magnet is in use—only the main compartment is accessible.

The magnets themselves won't scratch your car's paint, since they're covered in fabric and securely stored in the designated pocket.

However, when attaching it to the vehicle, make sure to keep the metal eyelets used to secure the straps and the bag’s closure facing away from the vehicle so that these parts do not scratch the paint.

The magnetic pouches are available in three sizes: S, M, and L, each with or without a counterpart magnet. You can also purchase additional straps or magnets, as well as the matching adhesive metal strips for attaching your pouches.

No, the bags are made from the same durable material as our seat covers (100% polyester), but without the foam padding.

The material is slightly water-repellent, but not waterproof. This also means that you should protect the magnetic bag from the elements, such as heavy rain, so that the bag—but especially the Magnets in your pocket, without getting damaged.

The bag is non-insulatingIt is not a cooler bag.
