A. Right of Withdrawal – Standard Products

This section applies to all products with the exception of seat covers (see Section B). These include, in particular: magnetic bags, thermal mats, mosquito nets, pillowcases, mattresses & toppers, mattress covers, and laundry bags.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (DriveDressy GmbH, Karl-Schmid-Straße 11, 81829 Munich, Germany, info@drivedressy.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., by letter or email). You may use the sample withdrawal form at the end of this document, though this is not required. You may also exercise your right of withdrawal using the withdrawal button or link provided on our website.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you—excluding shipping costs—without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction for this refund, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and, in any case, no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you ship the goods before the fourteen-day period expires. Please provide us with the corresponding tracking number after you have shipped the package so that we can quickly identify and process your return.

The goods must be packed in their original packaging and secured for transport. The return must be made in the original box or in a box of comparable size. Please ensure that the products are not improperly crushed, folded, or creased during packing.

Notwithstanding the statutory provisions, we will cover the direct costs of the return shipment in the event of proven defects in our products. In the case of a standard cancellation without a defect, you are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss is attributable to handling that is not necessary for inspecting the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the goods. This also includes a loss in value or increased processing costs resulting from improper folding, creasing, or crushing of the goods during return shipping.

B. No Right of Withdrawal – Seat Covers (Custom-Made)

Seat covers are custom-made based on the specifications you provide for your vehicle. Pursuant to Section 312g(2)(1) of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no right of withdrawal for goods that are not prefabricated and for which the consumer’s individual selection or specification is decisive for their manufacture.

The right of withdrawal expires upon the start of production. Production begins after you have fully completed and submitted the fit check. By submitting the fit check, you expressly agree that production will begin and that the right of withdrawal expires at that time.

Instead, for seat covers, the fit guarantee described in the Terms and Conditions (Section 8) applies, which includes a money-back guarantee in the event of proven fit issues after two attempts at rectification.
