Copyright information
Designs uploaded by you must not infringe existing third-party rights or statutory provisions. This includes copyrights, personal rights and trademark rights, but also radical, defamatory or constitutionally questionable motifs, logos or texts.
In order to use a design (photography, logo, text, etc.) on DriveDressy, you must own the rights to this design, if such rights exist at all. Before using a design, find out about its legal status or ask the rights holder for a limited right of use.
Information on registered trademarks and their scope of protection can be found on the following websites:
If a word or figurative mark is registered for Nice class 25 (clothing), you can assume that its use on clothing is legally questionable and we must reject the motif. You can view the Nice class on the TMView trademark platform.
Negative examples of motifs
Here are a few examples of motifs that you are not allowed to use in this or a similar way:
Copyright, trademarks and parodies
These are some well-known, copyrighted logos. They may not be printed without the permission of the trademark owner.
Constitutional law and federal symbols
We cannot and do not want to print motifs that violate the constitution or even fundamental rights.
Personal rights and defamation
Images of celebrities may not be misused for advertising or business purposes, at least not without their consent. To avoid unnecessary trouble, we do not print such motifs.
What happens to designs that violate legal regulations?
Both customers and partners should be aware that the unauthorized use of legally protected material can lead to high costs. This also applies to graphics and texts that are defamatory or constitutionally questionable. In the event of an infringement, DriveDressy will refer all claims to the rights holder or claim damages from the perpetrator.
DriveDressy also goes to great lengths to uncover and prevent infringements of all kinds as quickly as possible. If we discover suspicious content during our research, we will remove it - possibly without warning.
Have you discovered a suspicious design or defamatory lettering? Then send an e-mail to: [email protected]. Your details will of course be treated confidentially in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.
